WATER & WASTEWATER OPERATOR
The Municipality of the District of Guysborough has an immediate opening for one Water & Wastewater Operator. This is a full-time, permanent position with a six month probationary period with a start date of May 1st, 2018. The normal working hours will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with weekend and overtime work as required.

Certification in Level 1 or 2 Water and or Wastewater Treatment or the ability to achieve the required water certifications. Post-Secondary education related to water & wastewater systems will be given preference, training in Standard First Aid / CPR, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Confined Spaces Certificate, Gas Chlorine Handling, and Fall Arrest are considered to be definite assets. The beginning salary range for this position is $36,838-$ 46,047.
