Due to the recent prolonged period of low precipitation, water levels in your well likely are having difficulty replenishing.
With no significant precipitation forecasted in the coming weeks, these levels will continue to lower.
Tips for Water Conservation
- If its yellow, let it mellow - Depending on the efficiency of your toilet, each flush uses between 6 to 26 litres of water
- Shorten Showers - Cut back on the frequency and length of showers
- Limit Activities - such as watering lawns, washing vehicles, filling pools
- Turn off tap when not in use
- Turn tap off when brushing your teeth, shaving, washing
- Wash only full loads of laundry and dishes
Outside taps will be available at the following locations for non-potable water and for utilization at your own risk as the Municipality nor the Fire Department confirms the quality of water. Transportation containers are the responsibility of the resident. To ensure a constant source of water, fill ups will be limited to 3-20 L containers or less per household. Violation of this limit may result in ceasing of this service.
