On Wednesday, October 30th, a Ceremony was held to swear in the 2024 elected Council for the Municipality of the District of Guysborough. Council welcomed new incoming Councillor Susan Cashin for District 6, while all other members of Council have returned through acclamation.
An election was held to determine who would hold the seat of Warden & Deputy Warden for the duration of the next Council term; Council would like to congratulate Warden Paul Long on being elected & Deputy Warden Janet Peitzsche on assuming the role for the next four years.
