The Municipality of the District of Guysborough (MODG) is developing a community opportunity readiness program to support communities in preparing for new economic opportunities in the region. This program aims to find ways to promote development and pinpoint key investments that can be made to ensure that all communities in the municipality benefit the most from new renewable energy projects and other large-scale development opportunities. The program also includes ways to attract new residents through these projects, thereby growing the local population.
To make sure the program captures the needs and perspectives of everyone involved, we are asking for your valuable input through this survey. Your feedback will be essential in making sure the program aligns with the interests and priorities of community members and other key partners.
The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and seeks your views on the opportunities, challenges and things the municipality has been good at over the years that can be expanded to grow the population and improve the overall living conditions for residents.
