The Municipality of the District of Guysborough (MODG) is undertaking a five-year review of its Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use By-law (LUB), which were adopted in May 2022.
This review will help ensure our planning documents continue to reflect the needs and priorities of our communities, support responsible development, and respond to emerging opportunities and challenges.
The review will consider current development trends, housing needs, economic opportunities, environmental protection and coastal planning, while helping guide the future growth and development of the Municipality.
