The recreation department offers or supports programing across the district in community centres, The Chedabucto Lifestyle Complex (Guysborough) and Canso and Area Arena (Canso). Regular programming includes after school physical fitness activity for children and youth (PACY); seasonal sports and adult fitness. The recreation department are proud to partner with many community organizations to ensure that residents across the District have opportunity to get and stay active.
