NOTICE OF AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE BY-LAW (ZONING MAP)

TAKE NOTICE THAT a meeting of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough was held at the Municipal Building, Guysborough, Nova Scotia on the 17th day of June, A.D., 2026 and the following amendment to the Guysborough Municipal Planning Area Land Use By-Law (Zoning Map) was passed:

THAT the Council of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough approve the request to rezone property identified as PID #35026954 in Canso, Guysborough County, from Marine Industrial I-5 to Commercial C-1 to allow for licensed liquor establishments and other commercial type uses on this property.

 

Any aggrieved person(s), the Director of Planning or the Council of any adjoining Municipality may appeal this decision by writing to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board within fourteen (14) days of the publishing of this notice.  All information pertaining to this amendment may be made available at the Municipal Office, 33 Pleasant Street, Guysborough.
