NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, in accordance with the Municipal Government Act, did on the 16th day of September, A.D., 2026 at the Municipal Office, Guysborough NS, pass a motion to accept the notice of intent and first reading of the Canso Wastewater Management District By-Law.
UPDATED: The Council of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, in accordance with the Municipal Government Act will provide at least 14-days' notice prior to final reading for the adoption of this By-Law.
The Canso Wastewater Management District By-Law regulates the use and maintenance of the Wastewater Management System, and the discharge of waters and wastes into the community sewer system in District 8. This by-law regulates upgrading private septic systems in the Wastewater Management District and provides penalties for violations thereof.
