NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, in accordance with the Municipal Government Act, did on the 17th day of June, A.D., 2026 at the Municipal Office, Guysborough, NS, pass a motion to accept the notice of intent and first reading of the Municipal Emergency Management By-Law.
The Council of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, in accordance with the Municipal Government Act have recommended the By-Law for final adoption on the 15th day of July, A.D., 2026, at the Guysborough Municipal Building.
The Regional Emergency Management Organization By-Law allows the Municipality of the District of Guysborough to work with neighboring municipal units of the Municipality of the District of St. Mary's and the Town of Mulgrave to develop coordinated plans and take coordinated action on a regional level which will better serve residents. The by-law may be viewed at 33 Pleasant Street, Guysborough NS, during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
