5-Year Strategic Plan
In an effort to better market the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, a 5 year strategic plan outlining goals, actions, objectives, and strategies has been developed. The plan details MODG's vision and mission which outlines future strategic initiatives to be undertaken by the Municipality.

Financial Guidance Strategy
This long-term financial planning strategy is intended to be a financial lens to ensure the Municipality of the District of Guysborough remains financially sustainable, and is in a position to manage and mitigate risks impacting our fiscal health. This strategy will guide decision making and allow the Municipality to deliver best value to the taxpayers today, and into the future.

Integrated Community Sustainability Plan (ICSP)
The ICSP was developed in response to Service Nova Scotia & Municipal Relations requirement for all Municipal Governments in Nova Scotia to adopt a long term sustainability plan. The plan addresses MODG's needs, goals and actions to achieve environmental, economic, social and cultural sustainability.

Flood Mitigation Report
The Flood Mitigation Report was developed as an additional planning tool for MODG. This plan will form part of and be incorporated into, any new and amendments to our Municipal Planning Strategy, Land Use Bylaw, and Zoning at such time when those documents are reviewed and renewed.
