PHYSICAL ACTIVITY COORDINATOR
(18 MONTH REPLACEMENT POSITION)
MODG has an opening for the position of Physical Activity Coordinator. This is a 18 month term position beginning on February 12th, 2024. The normal working hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday, with weekends and evenings as required. The Physical Activity Coordinator is responsible for the overall promotion, operation and development of physical activity programs and services for the Municipality as well as updating the municipal Physical Activity Plan. The annual salary for this position will be $48,000.
A post-secondary education in the field of recreation, health promotion, physical education or equivalent is required. Work experience in recreation, health promotion, a fitness centre or municipal recreation department is considered an asset.
