Community Opportunity Readiness Program
The Municipality of the District of Guysborough is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking the services of a qualified firm to complete a Community Opportunity Readiness Program for several large-scale industrial developments, including multiple renewable energy projects throughout the Municipality. Proposals plainly marked “MODG2024-001 Community Opportunity Readiness Program” will be received electronically at tenders@modg.ca UNTIL 2:00 PM, MAY 1st, 2024.
The proponent is responsible for obtaining any needed clarification of the RFP requirements, while the RFP is open. Questions should be directed in writing to Mr. Sean O’Connor, Business Development Officer at soconnor@modg.ca. Only written inquiries will be considered an official response. Inquiries must be received no later than April 12, 2024 to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Inquiries received after that time might not be answered prior to the RFP closing date.
Responses to questions that are deemed by the procuring entity, in its sole discretion to be material to all prospective proponents will be made available as an addendum while the RFP is open, for download from the tender’s web site at: https://procurement-portal.novascotia.ca/.
To help ensure consistency in proponent responses and facilitate the evaluation process, the proposal must be prepared and packaged, as outlined in the RFP document.
The Municipality of the District of Guysborough reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals in the best interest of the Municipality.
