DRIVER / OPERATOR / LABOURER
The Municipality has an immediate opening for a Permanent Full Time Driver / Operator / Labourer with the Public Works Department. The Driver / Operator / Labourer shall be responsible for solid waste, organics and recyclable collection as a spare driver to fill in for vacations and sick time; as well as operating a variety of machinery within the Municipality. This position will also be responsible for a wide range of duties as directed by the Public Works Supervisor. The normal working hours will be (35 hours per week) Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The candidate must possess a Class III license with airbrake endorsement. Experience truck driving and operating equipment would be considered an asset.
