NS power have had some success in getting some households back online. There are still a significant number of households without power but they hope to have most back on by 6pm. We hope that they achieve their goal, if not sooner!!
Snow clearing efforts continue with some of the main arteries now open. There are still a lot of side roads that are not touched, and the Province's Dept of Public Works are doing their best to get to everyone as quickly as possible.
Please have an eye to your neighbours. We are now into day 3+ without power, so if you are able to check on a neighbour who may have needs, that would be greatly appreciated!
